Kings Park Adventure

Our Year 4 classes visited Kings Park for an engaging and informative tour and played in the beautiful Naturescape area. They learned how Perth (Boorloo) has changed over time and about the local custodians, the Whadjuk Noongar people. The program covered many topics, including Perth history, Aboriginal studies, and sustainability, while touring the gardens and war memorials.

Fremantle Literature Centre Incursion

Over two days, our senior primary classes participated in an engaging workshop hosted by the Fremantle Literature Centre. This workshop equipped students for picture book competitions and helped foster a comprehensive understanding of narrative writing. It was an interactive session that delved into idea generation, editing, storyboarding, creating dummy books, layout design, illustration, and more.

The students gained inspiration from the creative journey of crafting picture books and had the opportunity to handle, examine, and critique a selection of Australian picture books.

AFL Dockers Cup

Students from Years 5 and 6 competed in an all-girls AFL Dockers Cup against schools from various associations. They had an awesome day out displaying their skills and had a chance to meet AFLW players.

WasteSorted

The primary students enjoyed a visit from the WasteSorted Schools Audit. This engaging and educational session allowed them to discover more about various waste types. They learned about where our waste goes and the significance of responsible disposal, with an emphasis on recycling.

Interhouse Cross-Country

The Primary Interhouse Cross-Country was a wonderful success. We were so encouraged by the persistence, sportsmanship, and joy the children brought to the day. It was heartwarming to see students helping those who were struggling and others celebrating with the victors. Thank you to the parents who came in support.
