Major Raffle sunset committee:
🍽️🍰 Ladies Night 🍰🍽️
A big Thank You to Beth for organising a fabulous ladies evening out held on May 3rd at Parklake. There were 14 Mums who joined for a night of laughs and friendship.
💐🎁Mothers Day Stall: 💐🎁
I hope all Mums had a very Happy Mother’s Day and were able to enjoy time with your children, celebrating all things that make mums amazing.
Wow! What an impressive and incredibly wonderful Mother’s Day stall.
A HUGE Thank You particularly to Kristen and to Tammy for orchestrating and coordinating the stall. I know just how much love and time went into organising the beautiful gifts and stall itself.
THANK YOU to the incredible helpers who sold items on the day and assisted students to select their perfect gift! It was so fantastic to see so many faces of parents and grandparents chatting and creating a community while running the stall.
To you, our families, Thank You for supporting the Mother’s Day stall by sending money with your children and generously donating so many thoughtful gifts.
☕️💐Mothers Day Coffee 💐☕️
Thank you to Jam Packed Coffee for providing mums with a hot drink to celebrate Mothers Day on May 10th. Although, a chilly and wet morning, it was really lovely seeing some families being able to share a cuppa and chat.
Sports:
Soccer: ⚽️🥅
Soccer season is well and truly underway. Thank you for all the families who helped out with our first duty day last Saturday. During the week our Under 8s and Under 10s got regraded. Lastly, we were happy to receive our new soccer balls for training.
Netball: 🎽
11&U Doves
The girls are continuing learning and improving their skills and are having fun and look forward to starting the new draw.
Last game we went down to St Brendan’s 11-4. However the girls didn’t make it easy for the taller and older opponents and Kristen was very pleased with how well her team worked.
Community Group is currently looking into getting a permanent solution to some indoor netball goals that can be used for both wet weather training and during school sports lessons.
Meals:
If you are in need of a meal due to illness, a new baby or your family is just having a tough time, please reach out.
Similarly if you have a meal we could pop in the freezer for a family, simply date and label with ingredients and drop at the office.
This year we will try to offer each event as a ‘sunset group’, that all parents are welcome to join in. These events may be just a once off and would suit your interest/s, and time schedule. They include things like the upcoming end of term BBQ or major raffle.
More info on ways to get involved to come.
