Chess Zonal Tournament
Congratulations to our chess team for their outstanding performance at the zonal tournament held at Glen Eira College! Despite the absence of our top player, Jackie L, Oscar D stepped up brilliantly, joining Benny C in leading the team to victory. Rey D and Trent K also delivered strong performances, each finishing with 5/7 points.
What is truly remarkable is that our team clinched first place out of 19 teams, including renowned schools like Melbourne Grammar and Melbourne High, last year's State Champions. Despite not having any players in the top three individually, our team's depth and cohesion secured the win. A special shoutout to Oscar D, whose impressive debut in the first team was capped off by collecting the winner's trophy on behalf of the team. Well done to all team members for this remarkable achievement!

VSAC Swimming Tournament
On Monday 06 May, seven outstanding Huntingtower students represented the EISM at the Victorian School Association Swimming Competition at MSAC. This competition is known for featuring the best swimmers in Victoria.
Our students competed in 20 out of 52 events, showcasing their talent against Victoria's top swimmers. They made us proud by winning 10 ribbons, including 1 second place and 9 third places. Remarkably, four students won multiple ribbons.
Congratulations to Jeremy, Julia, George, Cheng-Yu, Christopher, Thalia, and Alexander for helping the EISM place 3rd overall out of 13 Associations, our best result in years. We are incredibly proud of these talented students.
A big thank you to the parents for their support and commitment. Your encouragement has been invaluable to our students' success.
