James Reid: National Age Diving Champion!

Congratulations to ASPS Year 5 student, James Reid, for his efforts at the recent Australian Age Diving Championships in Melbourne!

James has had an incredibly busy and exciting week. After training every day in the first week and Monday to Wednesday of last week, on Thursday he placed first in his 3m Springboard event (gold medal). On Friday he placed second in his 1m Springboard event (silver medal) and on the Saturday James placed first in his 5m platform event (gold medal - in fact he was the only child in the country to qualify for this event!). To cap it off at the Awards ceremony, James was awarded Diver of the Year 2024.

Congratulations to ASPS student Sophie F in Year 5 and her teammates for winning their recent U12 Basketball Grand Final! Everyone at ASPS is super proud of you Sophie!
