Ulster Road works advice
Please note the information below provided to the school from the Water Corporation regarding works on Ulster Road, commencing in June. This will impact some bus services to the school and we will keep in contact with Water Corporation to provide you with appropriate updates as the work progresses.
You may notice signage along Ulster Road over the coming week, regarding an upcoming Water Corporation project. Water Corporation will be commencing replacing a wastewater pressure main along Ulster Road in early June 2024. The work will require partial lane closures on Ulster Road, and detours. The work will progressively move along Ulster Road. The detours and traffic management may result in additional travel time.
There may be some impacts to the bus services which utilise Ulster Road. Water Corporation are working with the local bus provider to determine impacts to the bus services which utilise Ulster Road. This may involve some detours to the bus services. Once these have been determined they will be communicated to the community. Further details on the project can be found at the Ulster Road Wastewater Pipeline Replacement Webpage
During late May, further details and map on the lane closures, timings, detour routes will be provided on the webpage. The webpage will also be kept up to date throughout the Project with timings and related information. You can also subscribe for regular project updates on the webpage. We thank you for your patience and understanding during these essential works to reduce future leaks and breaks.
For further information you can also contact Water Corporation’s Community Engagement Advisor – Emma Halligan on emma.halligan@watercorporation.com.au or (08) 9420 2198 (during business hours).
