Produce Stall

Produce Stall

Thank you for all donations and for supporting the produce stall. The students had been busy potting, creating and baking. By all these efforts we were able to raise $300

This will go towards our new garden chooks and a charity of the students choice.

Thank you to all the families that donated baked goods to

- raise awareness of endangered animals, absolutely outstanding efforts.

Garden Helpers Wanted

We are after garden fairies all year round to help around the school. Come down and have a chat with Dominique Taylor and see what works for you and how you can help?

Garden Update

We send a huge thanks to the Western Port Men’s Shed that came down last week and helped with the cutting of our wood, in preparation for our new upgraded garden beds.

DRI - Dolphin Research Ambassadors

Last week the Ambassadors were able to witness a street litter trap being emptied.  All the rubbish that was successful trapped came from the street and was washed down storm water drains. The council empty these traps every 3 months to prevent the litter from ending up in the wetland and then eventually the ocean.

They participated in some dip netting and water testing of the wetlands.

We moved to Mornington Pier beach and did another litter pick up and then let about, ‘Nurdles’. Nurdles are small pellets used to make nearly all the plastic products we buy. Accidental spillage and mishandling means billions of nurdles end up in the ocean, creating countless problems within the marine ecosystem.
