Hello everyone, from Mrs Q and Foundation/Grade 1 Q

This Term we have been learning all about 'Respect', what it looks like, what it sounds like and how it makes us feel. We created some posters to share what it means to us.

In Maths we have been playing lots of games to practise our addition skills, in particular, counting on. We have learned to play Dice Addition 4-in-a-Row, we rolled two dice (a number dice and a dot dice) and counted on from the larger number to add the numbers together. It was a race to get 4-in-a-Row to win the game. 

You could play at home by creating your own game board like the one above. Use a dice and a deck of cards, flip a card, roll dot dice and count on remembering to count on from the larger number. To challenge yourself you could turn over 2 cards to make a 2-digit number or even turn over 3 cards to make a 3-digit number.
