Hello everyone,

Book Week Parade!

There was a large assortment of costumes based on lots of our favourite books. There were LOTS of Spidermen! Grade 5/6 ran the assembly, Luelle and Audrey were the hosts and Harrison was in charge of the audio. There were some parents dressed up too! Thank you everyone for joining in the fun!

Interschool sport.

Some of our senior students have been training hard to participate in the division basketball next Friday and some of the senior students also participated in division netball earlier in the term. And on Monday 11th September, some of our students will be participating in the division Athletics. 

Buddy activities.

We like helping our buddies. We have been have helping them to learn about family traditions and draw a family tree. 

Monday assemblies.

We have been learning about 'Respect' to encourage everyone to be respectful in our school yard and classrooms. There seems to be less noise in the yard and classrooms.

Bell Shakespeare performance at school.

On Monday 11th September we have the Bell Shakespeare "The Players" coming to school to perform "Just Macbeth" (Abridged). It won't be the grown up version!

Cooking.

Grade 5/6 have been cooking food we can enjoy at lunch time. Some of the food we have enjoyed includes herb fritters, cupcakes, pasta, yo yo's and scones! We love cooking and LOVE eating!
