Weekly Overview

It was a week like no other. The amount of effort and dedication to the production of the musical could never be questioned.

Our students at HTS especially primary, were lucky enough to view the performance a few times. Each time they viewed the musical it was evident that they truly valued the time taken for rehearsals and gaining the confidence of the cast to stand in front of a filled hall.

In addition to the performances, some of our students sat the ICAS tests (English, Mathematics and Science). These questions are not easy, they require a great deal of deciphering and understanding to respond correctly. Congratulations to all those who sat the tests and we look forward to hearing about your results in the coming weeks (they take 4-8 weeks to get the results).

Craze Dance

Students in Kindergarten to Year 2 will be watching another Creative Arts production this Thursday at the Town Hall - "Arabian Nights". This will be occurring during school time and they will be transported by bus to and from the town hall.

Year 7 Transition Evening 2024

This Wednesday students that are in Year 6 and are looking to get an insight into the Secondary Space of HTS. Please note that the tours will begin at 5 pm and an information session will be held directly afterwards at 5:30 pm in the Library.

Reminder of Summer Uniform

Students can wear the full summer uniform as we have finally entered into Spring. Winter uniform can be worn until the end of term.

With the warmer weather that surrounds us at the moment, students must have their water bottles filled with water and keep hydrated. Having a healthy choice for Fruit, Lunch and Snack is vital to their ability to focus on their learning.

Hats must be worn as this is a school expectation. Those that do not have a hat will be seated under a shelter to avoid sun exposure.

No Awards this week due to the Matilda Performances

There are no awards to present over the past week as the ginormous effort of Matilda Jnr. the Musical had been played throughout last week. I would like to thank all those involved in big and small jobs that contributed to the success of the performances as well as our very talented performers and choir members.
