Bayside District Lightning Premiership 

On Wednesday last week, the students went to either Jubilee or Ballam Park to play netball and soccer. We were very proud of the students' sportsmanship while we were there. 

A reminder that we have our final interschool sports game coming up this Friday at Frankston Primary School. We will walk there and back. 

Maths 

To end the term we are working on developing and consolidating an understanding of decimal numbers. The students have enjoyed playing different games and have been challenged by tasks such as locating decimals on a number line.  They have particularly enjoyed playing colour in a decimat where they have to practice adding decimals together. 

Writing 

This week in writing, we have been focusing on poetry. The students have enjoyed writing haikus and limericks. They enjoyed trying to collaboratively write their limericks by contributing one line and moving on to add to someone else's poem. 

Only one more week to go! Thank you for another fabulous term. 

I hope everyone has a very safe and restful break coming up. I am looking forward to another busy term starting on the 15th of July!
