Acting Principal's Report

Enriching Experiences

This week and next are jam packed with a wide variety of incursions, excursions and a camp for our students. Yesterday, our Year 3 students went to Scienceworks and today our Year 1,  and 6 students are having incursions. Keep a look out in next week’s newsletter to hear all about these experiences.

On Monday, June 17th, our Year 5 camp begins. We have approximately 40 of our students heading off on an amazing 3-day experience to Camp Campaspse Downs. This is an adventure camp, so students will participate in activities such as canoeing, archery, climbing and a high ropes obstacle course. Apparently, this year’s camp is on much flatter ground than last year’s camp – thank goodness!

Reporting

This year we have continued with the modified structure for Parent Teacher Conferences. We will have a student free day on Tuesday the 25th of June and during this time we will run conferences between 10.30am - 6.30pm. We have also increased the meeting time from 10 minutes to 15 minutes, allowing you more time to speak to your child's teacher about their Semester 1 report and ask any questions you may have.
