And that's a wrap!

The term is close to an end and just like that we have arrived at the middle of the year.

Next week the staff of Good Shepherd continue their work without students.  Over the coming week we will be spending time connecting with God as part of our Spiritual Retreat,  led by Renee Watego who helped us to celebrate our 'Sea of Hands' earlier this year.

In addition to this, we will be spending time in planning and preparing for Term 3, progressing some ideas around the data that we received from the strategic plan survey, and completing a variety of compliance training.  We will also have the opportunity to come together as a Connected School family and sharing a time of worship and our school with staff from Salisbury Kindy, Golden Grove Lutheran, St Paul, Blair Athol and Endeavour College.

If you are anything like me as a parent - I love breaks from the school routine for many reasons, but there are some harder parts.  I enjoy the sleep ins and later nights, but the challenge of balancing activity and screen time.  Trying to prioritise family time and rest, are just that little bit trickier.

Nature Play SA have a number of great resources one of which is available in the link. While the weather is chilly there are still many things that we can enjoy in winter.  My plan is to cross a few of these 25 things off of the list this July.

May this break be refreshing for each staff member and family.

Many Blessings

Evie Stevens
