Year 1/2 Learning Reflection

Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships- Students enjoyed working collaboratively during a 'life raft game' which reinforced friendship skills. They had to move around quietly to avoid the dangers in the ocean and climb aboard a life raft working together and helping their friends. 

In Mathematics, students have been enjoying playing maths games to reinforce addition and subtraction strategies. They have been using their whiteboards during the daily review to practice place value concepts. 

Unit of Work-  The super talented grade 1/2s have been working extremely hard writing, recording and producing their sustainability stop motion animation videos. We can't wait to share what we have learnt with our school community!

Students from 2B enjoyed working in teams to create informative and creative stop motions animations. 

We have been writing 'What Am I?' books. Can you guess what I am?

Our 1/2s were fortunate to have a Wildlife Xposure Incursion to end a wonderful term. We got to see and touch lizards, possums, owls, frogs, turtles, snakes and crocodiles! we learnt lots of interesting facts. You might like to ask your child what they learned.
