Catholic Education Week - Diocese of Sale

St Thomas The Apostle PS proudly supported the Opening mass for Catholic Education Week 2024. For the first time the mass was celebrated at St Thomas The Apostle church by Bishop Greg Bennet, Fr Denis and many of the Diocesan priests. 

Our Year 3 students had the opportunity to volunteer to learn to sign the Acknowledgement of Country in Auslan. With less than 2 weeks to practice they did an amazing job and were the talk of the Catholic leaders present. 

Catholic Education Week celebrates the amazing work done in Catholic schools to educate young people in a life affirming, active and invitational way. The Director of Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Ltd (DOSCEL), Mr Paul Velton shared a video which can be viewed here.
