Part III - Student Engagement - INSPIRE
At Skye Primary School, we know that student enagement directly correlates with improved attendance, academic progress and overall mental health. As you've seen in previous issues, engagement comes in many different forms; from enriching curriculum content to family open afternoons and providing unique in-school activities such as our Kitchen Garden program and INSPIRE.
Our INSPIRE program seeks to do just that, inspire students to seek out new hobbies, skills and activities that they might not try otherwise. It can also enhance and build upon an already established interest. Our teachers are passionate about sharing their knowledge and interests with students and it provides another opportunity for students to interact among multiple year levels.
