On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 21st, the community came together to celebrate and engage in Skye Primary School's Maths Open Afternoon. Our dedicated staff opened their classrooms, sharing our school's vision and the key attributes of successful maths learners.
We are committed to fostering a vibrant maths culture and reshaping perceptions surrounding mathematics. Our goal extends beyond the classroom, aiming to instil a passion for maths within our students both at school and in their homes. The turnout from families was inspiring, with active participation not only with Skye Primary School but also Carrum Downs Secondary School.
For those unable to attend, a PDF version of our game booklet is available for download. We eagerly anticipate announcing the winners of our maths prize packs during this Friday's Assembly on May 31st.
