Bike Club ventures to new trails

We were full of excitement as we rode around the trails off the main Yarra Trail from Finns Reserve Templestowe into Candle Bark Park and out again.   The students covered 20km of trails they had not ridden before, but what was more exciting was the little shoots, downhill sections and jumps – most with a view of the Yarra River.    The students embraced the new opportunity; they were extremely polite to other riders and walkers along the trail. They loved being out on the trails and took in all the views embracing the outdoor environments.     We would like to say a massive thank you to the local bike club, as this would not have been possible without their loan of the bike trailer.  It was great to be able to transport so many bikes – we really appreciate it; thanks Mr and Mrs Hall for organising this!

We are excited about being able to extend our adventures further and are looking to possibly complete an overnight adventure exploring the trails up near Mansfield.
