YEAR 7 INTERSCHOOL NETBALL

On Friday 31st May, we had the pleasure of taking out 27 Year 7 girls for their Interschool Netball competition. We had three teams that represented the College who all had some success on the day, reaching the finals for 3rd or 4th place across both pools. The students displayed the College Values and overall had a great day and experience. We look forward to taking these students out for their Term 3 Sports.

CROSS COUNTRY

Several of our students competed in the Eastern Metropolitan Zone Cross Country at Yarra Valley Racecourse this month. Our students ran extremely well amongst tough competition. A particular mention to Finn in Year 7 who finished third and Gordon in Year 8 who finished eighth - these boys have both qualified for the State Cross Country early next term. A fantastic effort!

SENIOR SCHOOL TABLE TENNIS

On Wednesday 12th of June, five of our VCE students had the opportunity to visit Kilsyth Basketball Stadium for a table tennis competition against Upper Yarra Secondary College. The day began with our team practicing their table tennis skills in the café, preparing for the arrival of our competitors.   Our preparation paid off as we secured a resounding victory, winning all matches with a clean sweep of 7-0. This included victories in all five of our singles matches and both doubles matches. Thanks to this outstanding performance, our school has progressed to the next round of the table tennis competition.  After the competition, demonstrating great sportsmanship, our school enjoyed some friendly matches with Upper Yarra while waiting for our bus home.  Congratulations to our talented team for their exceptional teamwork and skill displayed throughout the day!
