Hi Everyone,
As you know Rolling Hills Primary School hosted The Biggest Morning Tea last Wednesday, on the 22nd May. It was a ‘tea – riffic’ day, where everyone worked together to raise essential funds for The Cancer Council. Every dollar raised makes a difference to those impacted by cancer.
The fund raiser was a whole school effort. The Student Representative Council organised a 'Free Dress Day' and gold coin donation which raised $473. Lauren Bremner at the Rolling Hills Canteen arranged a delicious Morning Tea for our students. A generous portion of each order was donated to the Cancer Council, which raised $298. For the third year running, Mr Van Haaster hosted the Rolling Hills Biggest Morning Tea for the staff and collected a further $496.
Altogether our awesome school community raised $1,267 for The Cancer Council.
Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is a community event that raises vital funds to make a big difference for those impacted by cancer. Thank you for support this year. Well done Rolling Hills!
