OSHC - TheirCare

Hi everyone! 

My name is Adrian, and I am the new TheirCare before school and after school coordinator. I am currently studying a Master of Teaching at Swinburne University, specialising in Physical Education and Health. I love staying active, being outside and playing basketball. I love watching all sports and my favourites are basketball and footy - Go Pies! My passion is promoting a healthy living lifestyle for everyone. 

I also have Nicole starting with me as a new educator who is very excited to start at OLA TheirCare. Nicole is a past student of OLA who has finished her teaching degree at Eastern College and will be looking at becoming a primary school teacher in the future. She has completed her placements at Waverley and Heatherton Christian Colleges. She loves doing creative and crafty/art designs with students.

TheirCare is providing our out of school hours care at OLA in 2024. The program will be available for all children at OLA from 7:00am until 8:45am in the morning and from 3:15pm until 6:00pm each school day. During School Holidays and Pupil Free Days the service will operate from 7:00am until 6:00pm. Families wishing to use this service can visit the TheirCare website: www.theircare.com.au 

Instrumental Music Program

As part of the Instrumental Program at OLA, we will be offering tuition in the following instruments: 

Keyboard, Guitar, Ukulele, Singing, Recorder, Violin and Drums: Grade 1 to Grade 6. Saxophone, Clarinet and Flute: Grade 3 to 6.

Individual Lessons $29.00 

Group Lessons $19.00 per lesson.

Lunchtime Club Opportunities

Computer Club

This term Computer Club is on every Wednesday in the STEM room for Grades 3 to 6 students. We spend the first half of lunch together on an iPad or Chromebook exploring different apps and programs online. Check out what some club members have created on the Sketch it app on an iPad. Mrs Danson
