Principal's Update

Dear Families,
Today is a very big day for the Sandhurst as Bishop Rene Ramirez will be installed as the 9th bishop of our Sandhurst Diocese. I share with you a prayer of blessing for our new Bishop.
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the ministry and leadership of Bishop Rene Ramirez as Bishop of Sandhurst. Pour out Your wisdom, strength, and grace upon him as he shepherds Your people with faith, humility, and courage. Guide his decisions, inspire his preaching, and sustain him in every challenge and responsibility entrusted to his care.
Bless the clergy, religious, and faithful of the Diocese of Sandhurst, that together they may grow in unity, hope, and love under his pastoral leadership. May Bishop Rene be a faithful witness to the Gospel, attentive to the needs of all, especially the poor, the vulnerable, and those seeking Your mercy.
Grant him good health, deep joy in service, and the constant companionship of the Holy Spirit. May his tenure bear abundant fruit for Your Church
and bring glory to Your holy name.
Amen.

I hope all students, parents and staff have found the Learning Conversations a time to celebrate the growth that has been made over the first semester – both academically and socially.
Thank you to all parents for taking the time to support your child’s learning. Thanks also to all class teachers for taking the time to support our students in future goal setting.
School Fees
This week we will send out reminders to all families to ensure payment of school fees. If payment of fees is proving a challenge, please speak directly with Tim Moloney ASAP.
If I have not heard from you, we will proceed with our Fee Collection protocols. The last phase of this protocol is calling in the debt collectors.

New Tuckshop Token system
The tuckshop staff are rolling out a new tuckshop token system today.
When a child orders an icy pole, slushy, hot chocolate etc., they will have a token placed in the clear zipped section of their tuckshop bag.
The tokens are now specific to the items they have purchased:
- S - Slushy
- M - Milk
- F - Frozen fruit - Pineapple rings & Mango pieces
- HC - Hot chocolate
- J - Juice
- I - Icy pole
Your students may need some support as they become familiar with this new system. We are confident that it will help ensure children only receive items that have been approved by their parents.
