Hello Foundation Families,

What another amazing week. This week we explored procedural writing and even got  to put our recipes into action in cooking, where we made chocolate chip cookies! In Maths, we explored mass and capacity. We had a lot of fun using water to fill different cups and jugs. The students made predictions and found different sized containers that all held the same amount of water.

We also had the kinder join us for a teddy bear picnic! We read stories, had play picnic sets and did lots of colouring's and craft. It was lovely connecting with the kinder again and giving them a sense of what school will be like next year. Our students showed great leadership.

Our Play Based Learning Farm also opened this week! We had the best time exploring, harvesting corn, selling produce in the shop, driving the tractor and collecting eggs! Please come through after school if you want a tour because we are super proud of what the students have created.

A reminder, library is on Wednesday! The students have loved being able to go up to the new space and it is very special for them being able to borrow books. We encourage any sort of library bag (just not their orange folder)

Kind Regards,

Tegan, Emma and Ash
