Three Year Old Kinder News

We have had such a great week at Kinder! The children have been loving the opportunity to once again test their gross motor skills on the outdoor climbing equipment. They have been enjoying some great active play outdoors and have been doing an amazing job of shifting gears as we head indoors to engage in calm and focused play. Our rainbow coloured loose parts and beads have led to some great matching, sequencing and pattern play this week. And our vet play area has inspired some wonderful pretend play, which in turn fosters children’s language, communication, social and literacy skills.

Teddy Bear Picnic with Foundation Friends

This week, our Kinder children had a wonderful time visiting the Foundation students for a very special Teddy Bear Picnic! Everyone brought along their favourite teddy or soft toy to join in the fun.

We were warmly welcomed by the Foundation classes and quickly settled in together. We sang songs, listened to stories, and shared a yummy snack while our teddies “chatted” and played too. It was a lovely opportunity for the children to connect, explore a new environment, and build confidence by making new friends.

There were lots of smiles, cuddles, and laughter — a truly joyful experience for everyone involved!

A big thank you to Tegan Kitteringham for organising this wonderful event — we’re so grateful for the opportunity to come together and create such special memories.
