Dear Families,
Our Year 6 students completed the two-week swimming program aimed at building confidence and improving water safety skills. It was encouraging to see students approach each session with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Many made noticeable progress in their swimming technique and showed increased independence in the water. The program also fostered teamwork and perseverance. Overall, it was a rewarding experience to see their growth and enjoyment.
Religious Education Focus:
This week, our students continued to explore the story of Pentecost, learning how the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples, empowering them to spread Jesus' message. They discovered how this event transformed the disciples, giving them courage and the ability to speak in different languages. Through discussions and activities, students reflected on the significance of Pentecost as the birth of the Church and its impact on the early Christian community.
