Augustine House – Show Up and Shine!

Term 2 has been full of highlights for Augustine House, with our students demonstrating leadership, service, and house spirit in so many ways.

Our Year 12s embraced their final retreat with enthusiasm, making the most of the chance to reflect, connect, and bond during their last school getaway. Meanwhile, Augustine students proudly represented SSCC at Anzac Day ceremonies across the region, honouring the spirit of remembrance with respect and pride.

A special thanks to Diwani, Ava, Jamie, and Paige, who confidently led our house assembly while Joel and Janre competed in the Great Wheelbarrow Race. Congratulations to Sam Broad, Damo Leeds, Joel Hatfield-Hayden, Maddy Radcliffe, Charlotte Agnew, Jasmin Sayed, and Tyson Metzger, who also participated. We’re especially proud that members of the SSCC Senior team, including some of our Augustine students, helped bring home first place overall!

In other exciting news, Charlotte Agnew, Hannah Barnes, and Timmika Klem are preparing for the upcoming interschool debating competition, after sharpening their skills in a recent workshop. We wish them the very best as they represent Augustine with pride.
