In The Artroom

This week in the Artroom students focused on celebrating and acknowledging our First Nations culture and traditions.

All students participated in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art activities with decorating scratchie designs of Australian animals using Koorie symbols, decorating boomerangs, making loom band braclets and colouring Indigenous designs.

The Preps read 'Tiddalick' and 'How The Birds Got Their Colour' - two Dream Time Stories - then completed artwork based on these stories.

Art Club has been on a Tuesday and Wednesday lunchtimes.  This again will be run in grade levels. Grade 1 and 2 were on Tuesday and Grade Preps and Buddies were on Wednesday.
