Clover Inspires Cross-Curricular Learning!

Following the exciting announcement of our Picasso Cow’s name—Clover—a wonderful cross-curricular connection has emerged in Italian.

After students chose the name through a fun and democratic voting process, the learning continued in new and meaningful ways. In their Italian lessons, Grade 5 and 6 students are now exploring the names of dairy products in Italian and researching famous Italian cheeses made from cow’s milk.

This cultural extension is deepening their understanding of Italy’s rich regional food traditions while building their vocabulary and language skills. It’s a fantastic example of how creativity and curriculum can come together to enrich student learning.

Stay tuned as Clover’s journey continues at St Patrick’s!
