Year 4 to 6 Swimming Lessons - Monday 2nd June to Thursday 5th June
As you will see from the calendar, all Year 4 to 6 students will be having swimming lessons from Monday 2nd June to Thursday 5th June.
As part of an Active Morning program, students will be walked to Mentone Grammar School Aquatic Centre. Swimming instructors from the centre will be running the sessions to ensure that students become confident and safe in water. All students will be assessed on the first session and then grouped according to their ability and familiarity with the water environment.
Students will then start to work towards the Victorian Water Safety Certificate This is a great opportunity to develop skills and techniques in the water, complementing but not replacing your own swimming lessons.
An Operoo will follow next week.
Thank you
