GEM Day

On Monday, St. Patrick’s held its very first GEM Day – a special celebration of Gratitude, Empathy, and Mindfulness, inspired by The Resilience Project. The day was a wonderful opportunity for students to come together and actively practise the important wellbeing skills they’ve been learning throughout the year.

A huge congratulations to our Year 6 leaders, who did an outstanding job running activities and supporting younger students. Their leadership, organisation and energy helped set the tone for a joyful and meaningful day.

It was also heart-warming to see students of all year levels get into the spirit of GEM Day with their creative costumes, bright smiles and positive attitudes. The feedback from staff and students alike was overwhelmingly positive – everyone had fun, learned something new and left feeling uplifted.

GEM Day was a fantastic way to see students putting into action the key messages they’ve explored in their Resilience Project lessons. We hope the skills of gratitude, empathy and mindfulness continue to play an important role in their daily lives.

Well done to everyone involved!!
