Stage 1 Excursion to IMAX Sydney 🎥 

On a dreary Monday, Stage 1 students embarked on an exciting excursion to the IMAX theatre to watch the captivating film "Under the Sea." Despite the gloomy weather outside, the atmosphere was filled with anticipation and enthusiasm as students boarded the bus, ready for an adventure. Once at the IMAX, they were immersed in the breathtaking underwater world, exploring vibrant coral reefs and fascinating marine life on the giant screen. This unforgettable experience not only provided a fun escape from the classroom but also deepened their appreciation for the wonders of the sea.

Data Detectives in 1/2D 🔍

This term, 1/2D have been exploring the world of data! Students had lots of fun sorting and collecting data from everyday items — including their lunchboxes and even packets of M&Ms (which was a very tasty activity!). They recorded their findings using tally marks and then used this information to create simple data displays. It was a hands-on and engaging way to make sense of data in the real world!

Maths Explorers in 1RA 

1RA students are buzzing with excitement during their maths lessons, where learning feels more like play than work! They’ve been diving into the world of number combinations, joyfully discovering all the different ways to make numbers like 10 using cubes, counters, and even their fingers. With each new puzzle, their curiosity grows—they love the challenge of figuring out which numbers fit together just right. Whether they’re solving clever maths riddles or working in teams to crack number mysteries, their faces light up with every “aha!” moment. Maths has truly become an adventure they look forward to each day!

⭐Skipping Superstars⭐

Year 1 and 2 students have been joyfully mastering the art of skipping, turning a simple skill into a fun and energetic adventure. With determination and a lot of practice, they’ve transformed from tentative beginners into confident skippers, proudly achieving their skipping goals. Through daily practice, bursts of laughter, and lots of encouraging cheers, they’ve developed rhythm, coordination, and a real sense of achievement. Watching them skip with growing confidence—some even adding little tricks or double hops—has been truly inspiring. Their progress is a testament to what can be achieved with persistence, teamwork, and a splash of fun!
