2026 Enrolment Expression of Interest

The Department of Education (DE) has a state wide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Teesdale Primary School.

You can find information and resources about the enrolment timeline and procedures at: Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) or download the Foundation Enrolment Timeline 2025-26 document below.

Enrolment Process and Documentation

Prior to a student being enrolled at Teesdale Primary School, parents or guardians are requested to complete an Expression of Interest webform to determine eligibility. This includes families who already have a sibling enrolled at Teesdale PS. The Expression of Interest Webform is in place of the Application Form mentioned in the timeline document above.

Once eligibility has been confirmed, prospective families will be emailed all the required enrolment documentation.

Enrolment inquiries that do not meet the enrolment criteria will also be advised via email.

Enrolment applications can be submitted via the Expression of Interest link on the school's website by Friday 25th July.

Our School Zone

All schools have a designated neighbourhood zone which can be view at findmyschool.vic.gov.au

Students residing within our school zone, based on their permanent residential address, are guaranteed a place at our school. Due to our current enrolment capacity, we are unable to accept enrolments from outside our neighbourhood zone.

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

School Saving Bonus Allocation to School Activities

The Victorian Government is delivering the School Saving Bonus (SSB) – a one-off support of $400 for eligible government school students from Prep to Year 12 in 2025.

The SSB can be used for uniforms and textbooks until Monday 30 June 2025.

Any funds remaining after 30 June 2025, including online voucher amounts that have not been redeemed, will become a credit to use on school activities. However, the credit will not be available on your family account at our school until late July.

To use any remaining SSB funds to cover the cost of school activities in July, please refer to the SSB online system and allocate the funds to school activities before 30 June 2025.

To learn more about the SSB online system, download the step-by-step System guide for parents and carers (DOCX, 945KB) or watch this School Saving Bonus video
