5/6L

As we come to the end of another busy term, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful experiences we’ve shared in 5/6L. The students have worked incredibly hard and have grown so much in both confidence and independence. Let’s take a trip down memory lane!
First Aid Incursion
Our class took part in a First Aid incursion where we learned how to respond to emergencies, treat minor injuries, and stay calm under pressure. It was an engaging, hands-on session that gave us valuable life skills!
Mother's Day
To celebrate Mother’s Day, we created thoughtful cards and gifts to show appreciation for the amazing women in our lives. It was a heartwarming activity filled with creativity, love, and gratitude.
ADANAC Camp
Camp was an unforgettable experience! From team-building activities and outdoor adventures to evening campfires, we had the chance to grow, connect, and challenge ourselves in a fun and supportive environment.
Class Mass - Reconciliation
We led a meaningful Class Mass focused on the theme of Reconciliation. It was a time to reflect on the importance of making amends, respecting all cultures, and working together for a more united future.
Space Expo
After weeks of researching and building, the 5/6s proudly hosted a Space Expo! We showcased detailed models of the solar system and shared interesting facts with parents, students, and staff. It was a fantastic way to celebrate our learning in science.
Mathematics
In mathematics, we explored the fascinating world of 3D shapes and their cross-sections. Using hands-on activities and visual models, we developed a deeper understanding of geometry in a fun and interactive way.
Debating
This term we took part in a debating program where we learned how to form arguments, speak confidently, and listen respectfully. Our class worked in teams and competed in friendly debates—showing great improvement in public speaking and critical thinking.
