From the Leadership Team

Dear GPS Community,
Greenwith Primary School Unveils New Vision, Mission, and Values.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of Greenwith Primary School's new Vision, Mission, and Values. This significant milestone marks a renewed commitment to fostering an environment where every child can thrive and achieve their fullest potential.
Vision, Mission, and Values: A Foundation for Success
Our new Vision, "Together, we ignite a passion for learning that empowers every child to dream without limits, lead with heart, and achieve beyond imagination," encapsulates our dedication to nurturing a community of learners who are both inspired and inspiring. Guided by kindness and driven by curiosity, we aim to contribute to a positive and sustainable future.
Our Mission and Values are articulated through three core principles:
- Respect: "Respect, always." We are committed to cultivating a school community where every voice is valued, diversity is celebrated, and kindness is the foundation of all interactions.
- Curiosity: "Stay curious, keep exploring." We encourage a culture where curiosity drives innovation, and students are empowered to think boldly, challenge assumptions, and embrace the unknown with confidence.
- Endeavour: "Strive, learn, improve." We inspire students to dream big, challenge themselves, and strive for excellence, fostering a mindset where perseverance leads to greatness.
Cultural Framework: Guiding Every Child to Rise
Our Cultural Framework, built on resilience, creativity, kindness, and compassion, guides every child to rise to their full potential. We believe that when the sky's the limit, anything is possible.
Belonging, Being, and Becoming
- Belonging: Greenwith Primary School is a place where all people are treated with respect. It is our responsibility to cultivate a community where fairness and compassion are paramount.
- Being: We value curiosity, encouraging learners to question, explore, and seek knowledge with enthusiasm.
- Becoming: We value personal endeavour, inspiring students to take ownership of their learning and make meaningful impacts within their community.
The new Values and Values Statements will be pivotal in strengthening and developing a robust culture at Greenwith Primary School. By embedding "Respect, Curiosity, and Endeavour" into every aspect of school life, we are laying the groundwork for a supportive and dynamic environment. These values will guide our interactions, decision-making, and educational practices, ensuring that every member of our community feels valued and empowered. As students and staff embody these principles, they will foster a culture of mutual respect, continuous learning, and personal growth.
As we embark on this exciting new chapter, we invite everyone to join us in embracing these Values and working together to create a brighter future for our students. Let us continue to respect all, stay curious, and reach for the sky.
Kind Regards,
Darren

Mid-Year Reports
Teachers have been working on the mid-year reports for students. For families that had students enrolled at Greenwith Primary School in 2024, your access to your child’s report through the Sentral for Parents app would not have changed.
For new families and students, please ensure the Parents for Sentral app has been downloaded from your phone's app store. Your child’s access key would have been provided to you earlier this year and will need to be populated within the app to connect to your child’s profile.
Please contact the school if you are encountering any problems with the Sentral for Parents app.
Reports will be released at 3:10pm on Wednesday 2nd of July (Term 2, Week 10).
Attendance
In South Australia, all school children up to the age of 16 are required by law to attend school regularly. Everyday your child attends school counts, as regular attendance and being on time everyday helps students to:
- develop a sense of belonging
- develop and maintain friendships
- be more engaged at school
- progress with their learning
- experience success at school
It is important that students develop habits of regular attendance at any early age, beginning from the time they are enrolled.
If your child is absent, please notify the school or class teacher of the reason for the absence through the Sentral app, email, or a phone call.
