Year 3/4 Camp

On Tuesday, our enthusiastic Grade 3 and 4 students set off for CYC Camp in Cowes, filled with excitement and ready for adventure. The campers jumped straight into a range of fun and challenging activities, including archery, the flying fox, and the thrilling giant swing. It was wonderful to see so many students take a “leap of faith,” showing incredible bravery and determination!

Although the weather was chilly, we were lucky to have clear skies for most of our stay. A quick burst of rain on Tuesday afternoon didn’t dampen our spirits—we were indoors enjoying a high-energy mini Olympics at the time! The skies soon cleared again, just in time for more outdoor fun. A firm favourite among the students was "The Pinnacle"—a high rock-climbing tower that challenged and inspired.

That evening, students settled into their cabins and were treated to games hosted by Mr Inglis, after our planned night walk was cut short due to the rain. On Wednesday, we woke a little tired but full of energy for more adventures. The sun was shining, and the smiles on everyone’s faces said it all.

Across the two days, students formed new friendships, showed great resilience, and embraced each challenge with a positive attitude. We are incredibly proud of all our campers and are certain that after such a big adventure, a good night’s sleep was very welcome on Wednesday evening!
