Girls Football

OLSS Girls football team had a wonderful opportunity to play a sport that the girls do not often get to try. Tackling was the huge highlight, as the girls were finally allowed to use bear hugs on their opposition!

Our best game was our second, against Newhaven college, where the girls dominated the second half. OLSS kicked two goals this half (thanks Eve!) and Cordi kept the ball from going past the centre! Isla was a bouncing super rocket, and Tilly was enjoying tacking anything that moved!

Ariana and Maxie were our smallest player who could pick up the crumbs. Ella could run and tackle and kick as good as anyone! Meila found a passion for running down players for a bear hug tackle. Well done girls!

Boys netball

Today grade 5/6 boys travelled to Wonthaggi. Everyone tried their best, played well asteam, improved throughout the day and had lots of fun. Thank you to Mr Inglis fororganising. Mrs OC for coaching, Meg for umpiring, Ronnie and David for first aid andphotos! Our second games was a great win 11 to 7. Our other three games were super close!
