Principal's Report

Tim Mulhall - Principal

Harmony Day

We are excited to celebrate inclusivity, respect, and a sense of belonging for everyone in our community. This day is an opportunity for students to reflect on the importance of diversity and how we can all contribute to a more inclusive world.

Students are welcome to wear orange—the colour symbolising harmony and unity—or traditional clothing that represents their cultural heritage. They can wear as much or as little orange as they like, or simply come in their regular school uniform.

Shop for You School

We’re currently sitting in second place—what an incredible effort from our school community! Let’s keep the momentum going and aim for the top spot. Every contribution makes a difference, so thank you for your ongoing support!

See the Parents’ and Friends’ Association page for more information.

Reporting Attendance

Accurately recording student attendance is essential for both safety and legal requirements. Recording the reason for a student’s absence is a mandatory requirement for both parents/carers and the school. This information helps the school understand absences and supports students, families, and the community in maintaining regular attendance.

If your child is absent, please notify the school and provide an absence reason as soon as possible via Compass. If no reason is provided or the information entered is unclear, the school will contact you to get clarity of the absence.

Attendance matters, and we appreciate your cooperation in ensuring all absences and reasons are recorded correctly.

School Council

Our public reporting school council meeting will be held on Monday, 24th March, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. This meeting is open to the community, and we encourage you to come along. This provides an opportunity to reflect on the past year, discuss key initiatives, and deliver the Annual Report.

Family Fun Afternoon

Our Family Fun Afternoon is a great opportunity for families to come together, enjoy some activities, and celebrate our wonderful school community. Join us on Thursday, 27th March, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm for an afternoon of fun and connection.

There will be games, a sausage sizzle, and a visit from the Mr Whippy van, so come along and enjoy a relaxed evening with family, and both old and new friends. Feel free to bring along some chairs or a picnic rug to set up on the oval.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Volunteers Induction

If you are interested in volunteering at the school, we invite you to attend our Volunteers Induction on Friday, 28th March at 9:15am in the staffroom (near the office). This session is essential for all volunteers and will cover important information about our policies, expectations, and ways you can support our students and school.

School Photo Day

School Photo Day is scheduled for Thursday, 27th March. Please ensure your child is in correct school uniform and presents in a clean and well-groomed manner on the day.

Unfortunately, due to our a delay in our photographers’ equipment upgrades, the whole-school photo will need to be moved to Term 2. We will confirm a new date as soon as possible.

Last Day of Term

The last day of Term 1 is Friday, 4th April. Students will be dismissed at 2:30pm.

TheirCare will be operating Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) from 2:30pm for families who require care. Please ensure you book a place if needed.

Policy Update

We have recently updated several policies, which can now be accessed on our website:

  • Asthma Policy
  • Volunteers Policy
  • Complaints Policy

We encourage all families to review these policies.

Warmly,
