Hello Foundation Families,

This week we introduced 4 new codes to our collection! 'k' 'e' 'r' 'u' We practised writing these letters on the baseline and making new words. This week was very exciting as we introduced Reading Eggs to our weekly reading rotations. Students practiced logging themselves in and out and showed responsibility when using technology at school.

In Maths, we looked at the days of the week. We made connections to activites we may do outside of school, as well as connections to things that happen each day of the week we are at school.

Thank you so much for your engagement on our Information Night. It was amazing to discuss what we have been doing this term, how the students have settled in and what we are getting up to for the remainder of the year.

If you couldn't make it, your child will come home with a QR code log in to Seesaw in their orange folder. This is a platform where we upload the students work throughout the term for you to see how they are going and what they are up to.

Next week is planning week. Foundation is on Monday, so students will be on an alternative timetable with their specialist teachers. Students will be with their teachers for the remainder of the week.

Kind Regards,

Tegan, Emma and Ash
