Traffic Update

I know many of us living southwest of the school have been battling traffic and train strikes. 

Our SWS bus, particularly in the mornings, has been affected by varying traffic conditions. While we’ve explored different options, the unpredictable nature of traffic and roadworks continues to be a challenge. 

We appreciate your patience as we navigate this. I have written to Transport NSW and I’m awaiting an update regarding the roadwork of Henry Lawson Drive as there seems to be varying information and timelines, I’ll report back to the community when I hear something. 

Welcome to our New Counsellor

Below is a welcome from our school counsellor Miss Shanae Norton. The process of seeing the counsellor is firstly speaking to your child’s class teacher about whether this is something that your child needs. 

Talking to Our Children About Internet Safety

Keeping our children safe on the internet is an increasing concern for many parents. If you’d like to have a conversation with your children about using the internet safely, our library has three excellent books available for loan that can serve as great conversation starters. To borrow one, simply stop by the library before or after school and speak with Mrs. Auckett.
