Dear Parents,

The weather has definitely been different this week, with cold mornings and warmer days. What we have seen at school is an increase in unwell children, particularly with bad coughs. If your child is unwell, it is appropriate to keep them at home where they can rest and get better. Please contact the school to let us know your child is unwell so the absence is explained.

Congratulations to all the children and staff from the Support Unit on a wonderful day of involvement in the Multi-Sports Day on Tuesday. Our children had a exciting day of activity being involved in many sports throughout the day at the Indoor Sports Stadium. Congratulations to everyone involved on their participation.

Good luck to the children attending the Western Athletics Trials in Dubbo tomorrow. We know they will do their absolute best and be great representatives of Bathurst Public School. The children attending the carnival are;  Lilly Guihot, Sophie McPhee, Mia Walker, Cooper Jones, Addison Jones, Isaac Gafa, Charlotte Morris, Lucas Hurford, Archer Kolkman, Harvey Glasgow, Max Naylor, Iydian Rue, Alex Bateman, Alex Sverdloff, Jenson Pawsey, Frankie Shoemark, Beau Francis and Jonty Rue. 

Our annual Swimming Program note has been published through the Sentral Parent Portal. The dates of the Term 4 10-day Swimming Program for 2024 at the Bathurst Aquatic Centre are Monday 25th November - Friday 29th November and Monday 2nd December to Friday 6th December. The cost of the annual program is $130.00. Parents can give permission and make regular payments through the Sentral Parent Portal. Final payments and notes will be due by Friday 1st November, 2024.
