Digital Technologies Learning Update Term 3
This term, our students have thoroughly enjoyed their digital technologies classes. We adopted a project-based learning approach, applying it to real-world contexts.
Students worked in groups to research topics such as cyberbullying, online gaming, diabetes, and sustainability. They conducted surveys using Microsoft Forms to collect data, interpret the responses, and provide recommendations in their presentations. This activity integrated both wellbeing and information technology learning.
The aim of this task was to provide opportunities for teamwork, critical and creative thinking, and the use of digital tools (PowerPoint, Microsoft Forms, and Excel) for research, surveys, and class presentations.
Our classes had the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and skills to our principal and associate principal, Mr. Ballagh, and Ms. Ardley, who were delighted to be our guest audience on presentation days.
Well done to all our students for their great effort, confidence, teamwork, and the excellent content they presented!
