In the Grade 3/4 area, students have been working tirelessly over the past 5 or so weeks to complete their paper mache hot air balloons. We put the final touches on them this week and they have turned out brilliantly! Students were able to decorate them however they chose after looking at different design ideas. Anyone that finished early was able to make a person or animal to go into their basket out of pipe cleaners or plasticine. Well done Grade 3/4 on your persistence and hard work during this project!

In the Grade 1/2 area we had some fun with plasticine this week. With holidays around the corner we decided to hold off on our clay project and create some funky animals instead. Students got their hand muscles working trying to heat up the plasticine so that they could mould it into the desired shapes. We had some gorgeous creations head home yesterday and students had a great time making their favourite animals. Well done Grade 1/2!
