Attendance at the School Production
All students are expected to attend both nights of the production performance. Participation in the school production is an important component of the Arts curriculum at St Simon’s, and we expect all students to participate.
We are aware of a clash of dates with the 2025 Year 7 parent information nights for Nazareth College and Emmaus College. St. Simon’s has contacted each of the Colleges, and we have been informed there will be an alternative way for those families in question to receive this information so that Year six students can attend the school production. We are grateful to the staff at Nazareth and Emmaus for working with us to manage this situation.

Costumes
The rehearsals for our school production are going well. We are looking forward to an amazing school production on Tuesday 22nd October and Wednesday 23rd October.
A huge thank you to Elise (Toby in 6R mum), Stephanie (Audrey, Rory and Elijah Dawson’s mum) and Jany (Skye in 2G mum). We appreciate your assistance as well as creativity with our costumes.
The costume production team is still busy making and creating student costumes so it’s not too late to join in the fun and assist us with student costumes. If you are able to assist, please email either
Phil: Philomena.Solari@ssrowville.catholic.edu.au or;
Monica: Monica.Rayner@ssrowville.catholic.edu.au
If you’re a main character then it’s likely that we might apply some face paint for the performances – please let your child’s classroom teacher know if your child has any allergies to face paint.
By this Monday 14th October, all students need to bring in these two basic items to school in a labelled bag. A basic plain long or short sleeve t-shirt without logos or words (in the appropriate colour) and plain long black pants or leggings without logos or words. Thank you to the many families who have already done so.
Warm regards,
Phil, Ivana, Monica and Laura
