Primary Disco
Get ready to put on your dancing shoes and light up the night because the John Wollaston P&F Primary School Disco is back!
The Parents and Friends Association is holding a Disco on Friday 25 October for students in Kindergarten to Year 6.
There will be three sessions for the various age groups:
- Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Year 1: 5:00pm to 6:00pm
- Years 2, 3 and 4: 6:15pm to 7:30pm
- Years 5 and 6: 7:45pm to 9:00pm
Tickets are $5.00 each and can be purchased via Trybooking:
Please note:
- Parents MUST stay with their children in the K-1 session for supervision but are welcome to stay for all sessions.
- All older children must be dropped off and collected from the main doors of the VMAC/BDISC facing Centre Road.
- $5 entry includes prizes for best dressed and best dancing. All students will receive a juice box at the end of each disco.
- Be ready to present your tickets with QR code when you enter, for fast check in and express pass to the dance floor!
P&F Meetings
The P&F meets twice a term on Wednesday nights in the Library Resource Cen from 6:30pm. Our next meeting dates for 2024 are:
- Wednesday 16 October
- Wednesday 13 November
Come along and meet your P&F committee and find out what we do and how you can help. We hope to see some new faces.
Unincorporating the Parents and Friends Association
Over the years, incorporation of our P&F Association had served us well. However, as we look at our current situation, with our simpler financial structure and as a small committee of volunteer parents who aim to support the School in progressing key strategic initiatives and host a few events each year, we recognise that unincorporating the P&F Association will provide advantages. By removing unnecessary administrative burden, it will allow us to continue to focus on our aims of making our school community thrive and enriching your family's experience at John Wollaston.
At our General Meeting of members, scheduled for Wednesday 13 November, we will seek to consider and pass a special resolution. Please refer to the attached Notice of General Meeting for more information.
