Middle Learning Community

We have been super busy in the MLC this beginning of Term 4 - it has been a great start!

The kids have been loving completing their writing for the upcoming Cobram Show. Poetry written about the topics 'Pull the Plug' & 'Lost & Found', as well as narratives about the topics 'Fire!' & 'One Minute to Go!'.

Students have also engaged in a variety of mini experiments, beginning their Science Inquiry topic for the term 'Forces & Functions'. 

We have also been learning about the RE topic Reaching Out & Serving Others, through recontextualisation. Students have rewritten a piece of scripture from the bible and identified ways that they can reach out and serve within our school and wider community.

Students will be coming home next week with a list of items/materials that they will need to collect over the weekend to build their 'boat' for Inquiry. School will be providing some of the materials but there may be some household items (e.g. Recyclable items) that your child may need. If you have any questions about this please contact your child's classroom teacher. 

A reminder as the warmer weather is approaching to please remember school hats and drink bottles each day.
