Hello Families and Friends,

We are so excited to share with you all what we have been getting up to at TheirCare over the last Term. We are looking forward to seeing many of you at the upcoming Spring Carnival Holiday Program!

Term 3 Overview 

This term has been a fantastic journey filled with joy and discovery! Here are our top four highlights that truly stood out:

1. Culinary Adventures in the Kitchen: 
   Our budding chefs have taken their cooking skills to new heights with the ‘TC Tucker’ program. From whipping up delicious scones and banana muffins to mastering mac and cheese and quesadillas, their confidence in the kitchen is soaring!
2. Cuddly Companions for Comfort: 
   The addition of cuddly toys has transformed our morning sessions into a haven of relaxation. These soft friends have created a soothing atmosphere, making every child feel right at home.
3. Artistic Expressions Through Self-Portraits: 
   The children have taken a wonderful interest in drawing self-portraits of one another. Watching their creativity blossom and seeing how they capture their friends’ personalities has been nothing short of inspiring!
4. Outdoor Play Takes Centre Stage: 
   The excitement for outdoor activities has reached new heights this term! Whether it's backyard cricket, soccer, memory tag or volleyball, the children have shown remarkable teamwork and enthusiasm, making every game a memorable adventure.

These highlights showcase the vibrant and positive experiences the children have enjoyed this term. We can’t wait to see what exciting activities the future holds! Bring on Term 4!

Holiday Program 

We are so excited to announce that this Term’s Holiday Program’s theme is ‘Spring Carnivale!’ Bookings for this program are officially open on FullyBooked. We are extremely lucky to be heading out on some fantastic excursions these Holidays whereby we will be going to the Movies (Wild Robot), Archery Attack and Luna Park! As always, there is also many ‘In House’ days with ranging themes that develop from the concept of Spring. The activities within these days branch from the ideas of Science, Craft and Sports. We are so excited to see all that the children will enjoy and look forward to seeing as many individuals at the program as possible.

Sun Safety 

Transitioning into Term 4, children must wear hats when engaging in outdoor play. Can I please ask parents and guardians that you remind your child to bring their hat over to TheirCare so that we can go outside and enjoy all the sun has to offer safely! If preferred we have a tub at the service, your child is welcome to bring a spare sun-safe hat that is named that they keep at the service and use throughout the Year! Sunscreen will be applied before going outside every day, if your child requires a particular sunscreen, please do not hesitate to let me know so that I can accommodate for this!
