All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is one of the Healing sacraments.

Through this sacrament, we experience the forgiveness of God and the healing grace of God’s transforming love. It restores and renews our relationship with God, our families, friends and the Christian Community.

Jesus gave us the special gift of Reconciliation so that when we make poor choices and fracture our relationships, we can always say sorry and restore our relationship with others and with God. When we forgive or are forgiven we have the chance to put behind us what was wrong and restore our relationship.

In whatever context we talk about RECONCILIATION, it implies that we can hope for a future time when things will be better between us than they are now, and that we can take steps towards that future.

On Thursday evening many of our Year 3 students attended our Reconciliation Family Faith Night in preparation for receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation next week. It was lovely to see so many parents and children communicating together about God's forgiving love and mercy. We would like to wish our Year 3 students all the very best next week when they receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the very first time. May they always remember that no matter what, they are loved!

All school families are invited to attend our Parish Friendship and Family Day, hosting refugee and asylum seekers on Sunday 27th October. This event will be held at St Louis' School on the  school playground. BBQ Lunch and activities for the children will be provided for only $20 per family.

All are welcome!
