The Season of Lent

Next Wednesday February 14th is Ash Wednesday. This day marks the beginning of Lent, a time of preparation for Easter in the Christian church. Sometimes people use these forty days for extra times of prayer, giving and fasting (or 'giving something up'). The churches in Alice Springs also mark Lent with mid-week services in different locations. You are always welcome to attend.

13 March - Mid-week Lent 4, 7.00pm; Catholic (Dan Cortez), Hartley St
