Cover page - Dux of 2023

Congratulations to Serena Ahmad - dux of 2023 with a score of 81.9.

We are very proud of Serena who worked hard throughout the year and remained committed to her studies. Serena was an excellent role model for the other students and showed how to achieve the best results through hard work and dedication.

Serena hopes to pursue a career in nursing and we have no doubt she will be successful.

Congratulations to all of the VCE students. In 2023, for the first time, we had 100% completion of VCE and all of our students received offers at tertiary institutions. Congratulations to the VCAL students as well, who finished earlier in the year, and who are the last of the VCAL students to go through. From here on, all students who choose an applied learning pathway are enrolled in VM/VCE.  In 2023 our VCE results were up from 18 the previous year to 21, which is very pleasing.

This was been another very busy year as we continue on our school improvement pathway at JFC. Other highlights last year:

*Learning to ride bikes in our new Bike Ed program

*Raising the flags at the front of the school

*Introducing a whole new leadership program for students in 2024

*VM Gallery walk celebrating first year of Vocational Major.
