Library News

My name is Kathryn Williams and I am the new Teacher librarian at East Doncaster Secondary College. After 13 years as a classroom teacher, I recently moved into libraries and have spent time working in library roles at schools such as Haileybury College and St Margaret’s Berwick Grammar whilst gaining my librarian qualification.

I am excited to be joining the dedicated library team at EDSC and getting to know the students and the wider community. My favourite library event of the year is Book Week so I am looking forward to planning some fun activities in celebration later in the year.

In the meantime, there is lots to keep us busy, including setting up for the Reading Challenge, taking student book suggestions, and coming up with creative displays for the library.
