First Week of Lent

The season of Lent begun last week on Ash Wednesday, which also marks the beginning of the Project Compassion Appeal. Donations to Project Compassion allow Caritas Australia, the Catholic Agency for International Aid and Development, to work with local communities around the world to end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity.

With your support, Caritas Australia has been able to assist communities around the world through income generation, water and sanitation, food security, education and disaster risk reduction programs. 

Project Compassion 2024 reminds us that the good we do today will extend and impact the lives of generations to come, helping vulnerable communities face their challenges today and build a better tomorrow.

This year, Project Compassion brings you the stories of three resilient women from three different corners of the world. Ronita from the Philippines, Leaia from Samoa and Memory from Malawi. They are facing vastly different challenges, but are all united by one dream: to create a better tomorrow for all future generations. ​ 

Please give generously to Caritas Australia this Lenten season and help vulnerable people around the world, now andfor all future generations.

Secondary Pancake Day

To kick off our Project Compassion donations, Year 10 made Pancakes to sell to students on Shrove Tuesday last week. Here are some pics of them cooking!

Fish Day on Ash Wednesday

Thank you to all the students and families who supported our "Fish Day on Ash Wednesday" last week. There were lots of orders made across the school. Here are some Primary students enjoying their fish for lunch.

Please note that all class Masses and Prayer Celebrations will now be held at 9:30am on Friday's at Sacred Heart Church.

Year 2 Prayer Celebration

Year 2 will lead the Infants Prayer Celebration this Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 9:30am. Please note the new time of 9:30am. The theme for the celebration is prayer. Family and friends are welcome to attend the Year 2 Prayer Celebration this Friday, at Sacred Heart Church at 9:30am.
